Teaching Research Ethics: Fifth Annual Workshop, Bloomington, Indiana. Workshop
will be held at the Indiana University Campus, and is sponsored by the Universitys
Poynter Center. Session topics will include an overview of ethical theory; using animal
subjects in research; using human subjects in research; responsible data management; and
resolving conflict in graduate education. Several sessions will feature techniques for
teaching and assessing the responsible conduct of research, and a panel will describe
model curricula in research ethics. Attendance at the workshop will be limited to 45
participants; the workshop fee is $350.00.
